This weekend, Harvey will be racing in Tønsberg, Norway and competing in an UIM International Ordinary GT 15 race.
Last year at the same event, Harvey blew the competition away with 3 heat wins and proudly flew the Union Flag at an amazing and emotional, if not rain soaked podium presentation.
Powerboat Racing World reported at the time, ‘Britain’s Harvey Smith dominates GT15 in Norway’.
This year, Harvey won’t have it so easy.
2017 GT15 World Champion Adam Wrenkler heads up an eleven strong class which boasts racers from Sweden, Great Britain and the host nation.
Harvey’s father and team manager Martyn said today:
We leave tomorrow for Norway and look forward to supporting the Tønsberg Båtrace again, Joyce Christine Andersen and Frode Sundsdal always make our team feel so welcome.
